Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and North End Pilates LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company, and govern the purchase, booking, and use of all memberships, class packages, private sessions, and services offered by the Studio. These Terms supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, or understandings, whether written or oral. If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable Massachusetts law, such provision shall be modified or severed to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

1. Membership

1.1 Upon completion of registration and acceptance by the Studio, you will become a Member of North End Pilates. 
1.2 Membership acceptance is at the sole discretion of the Studio. 
1.3 Members must be 18 years or older to participate in classes unless otherwise approved by the Studio in writing. 
1.4 The Studio reserves the right to suspend, terminate, or refuse membership to any Member whose conduct is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inconsistent with Studio policies. No refunds will be issued for suspended or terminated memberships.

2. Membership Commitment

 2.1 All memberships require a minimum three (3) month commitment.
 2.2 Memberships automatically renew at the end of the commitment period unless canceled in accordance with the cancellation policy provided at the time of purchase. 
2.3 Early termination of a membership prior to completion of the three-month commitment is not permitted unless otherwise approved by the Studio in writing. 2.4 Membership Freeze / Pause Policy: Members may request a temporary freeze of their membership for medical reasons or extended travel. One (1) complimentary freeze of up to 14 days per calendar year is permitted with at least 7 days’ written notice. Additional or extended freezes may be granted at the Studio’s discretion and may be subject to an administrative fee. Membership commitments will be extended by the length of the approved freeze. 

3. Studio Schedule & Availability

3.1 Class schedules and studio hours may vary and are subject to change. Current schedules will be available via the Studio’s booking platform or website. 
3.2 Instructors and classes are subject to change, and classes may be canceled without notice. When possible, Members will be notified in advance.

4. Payment & Refund Policy

4.1 All class packages, memberships, drop-ins, and gift cards must be paid for in advance. 
4.2 All purchases are final. Classes, memberships, packages, and gift cards are non-refundable and nontransferable.
 4.3 Prices and offerings are subject to change at the Studio’s discretion. 

5. Bookings & Cancellations

5.1 Classes are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. 
5.2 Members must cancel a class at least twelve (12) hours prior to the scheduled start time. 
5.3 Late cancellations (within 12 hours) or no-shows will result in the loss of the class credit or a fee charged to the card on file. 
5.4 Late Arrival Policy: For the safety and experience of all clients, late arrivals more than five (5) minutes after the scheduled start time will not be permitted to enter class and will be treated as a late cancellation. 
5.5 This cancellation and late-arrival policy applies to all memberships, packages, and drop-in classes, without exception.

6. Use of Facilities

6.1 Members may use Studio facilities only during scheduled sessions.
 6.2 The Studio reserves the right to temporarily close or limit access to facilities for maintenance, repairs, or circumstances beyond its control. 

7. Studio Etiquette & Dress Code

7.1 Members are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors, staff, and fellow clients, and to contribute to a calm, supportive, and welcoming environment. 
7.2 Appropriate Pilates attire is required. Non-slip socks are strongly recommended. 7.3 Late arrivals may be denied entry for safety reasons.
 7.4 North End Pilates is a space dedicated to healing, recovery, and mindful movement. Members are encouraged to listen to their bodies, move with intention, and honor rest when needed. 

8. Personal Belongings

8.1 Members bring personal belongings at their own risk. North End Pilates is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. 

9. Health, Safety & Assumption of Risk

9.1 Participation in Pilates and fitness activities involves inherent risks, including physical injury.
 9.2 Members are responsible for informing instructors of any injuries, medical conditions, or pregnancies prior to class. 
9.3 By attending classes, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation. 

10. Hands-On Instruction

10.1 Instructors may provide hands-on corrections to assist with alignment and safety. Members may decline or withdraw consent at any time. 

11. Photography & Marketing

 11.1 The Studio may occasionally take photographs or videos for marketing purposes. Members may opt out by notifying the Studio in writing. 3
 12. Unlimited Membership Booking Limits 
12.1 Unlimited memberships allow Members to attend an unlimited number of classes within the applicable membership period, subject to availability and booking policies. 
12.2 Members may book one (1) class per day in advance through the Studio’s booking platform. 
12.3 Members may attend more than one class in a single day only by booking additional classes on the same day, provided space is available. 
12.4 The Studio reserves the right to modify booking limits to ensure fair access for all Members. 

13. Governing Law

13.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which the Studio operates. 

14. Changes to Terms

14.1 North End Pilates reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting.
