The Hope for Gus Foundation was started by Tonya and Steve Dreher after their son, Gus, was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). They are dedicated to "moving mountains" to help Gus—and all kids with DMD—by funding groundbreaking research. The money they raise goes toward cutting-edge treatments, clinical trials, and support programs to improve the lives of those affected by DMD.

Tonya Dreher and her team organize the "Everest to End Duchenne" trek, a difficult hike up to Mount Everest Base Camp. They climb to honor boys with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) who can't do it themselves, with all funds going toward finding a cure for DMD through breakthrough medical research.

The Tom Sawyer Foundation was created to keep the incredible teaching and coaching legacy of Tom Sawyer alive. After 28 years of amazing work, the Foundation honors him by offering the Tom Sawyer Memorial Scholarship, which helps students pay for their college education.
